persepolis

I went to the Crest last night with Leslie and saw Persepolis. This was such a great film. It's a story about an Iranian girl coming of age during the revolution. It's based off the autobiographical graphic novel. The author, Marjane Satrapi, also wrote and co-directed the film. It was interesting to see her viewpoint of what happened during the Iranian revolution. There were some great lines and the animations and soundtrack worked so well. I think I've been inspired to read a graphic novel.
